The Houston Symphony's Opening Night Gala, Vienna Soirée, raised more than $250,000 for the Symphony's Music Matters! education and community engagement programs.
Maestro Hans Graf led the orchestra in a program featuring two selections that captured the sounds of Vienna -- Mozart’s Sinfonia concertante, featuring our newly-appointed concertmaster Frank Huang, and Stauss’ Blue Danube.
Following the concert, the festivities continued in the lobby of the Bank of America Center, where party goers enjoyed a sumptuous feast by the incomparable Jackson and Company and dancing to the sounds of Toast and Jam. |
