The Houston Symphony has expanded its recognition of the important and vital work of music educators who dedicate themselves to the advancement of youth music programs. These efforts prepare our children to be creative and self-motivated and to think critically. The Symphony presents five awards, recognizing outstanding educators in the areas of general classroom music, band, strings, choral, and special music education.

The $1,000 Fidelity FutureStage Awards will be presented at the Salute to Educators concert on January 29, 2008.
