Detective concerts introduce instruments of the orchestra and elements of music in specially designed performances for our youngest listeners. Students play an integral role in the performances by participating through voice and movement. Our theme for this season is Beethoven’s Missing Notes.
Beethoven’s Missing Notes
For the last two seasons our pre-school through third grade students have proven to be super sleuths, as they helped solve The Case of the Missing Music and The Great Composer Caper. By using their eyes and ears, the young symphony detectives helped us find the answers while learning about instruments, music, and music makers. This year we will again ask their help in Beethoven’s Missing Notes.
Poor Ludwig has lost the notes for his very best piece, and our Symphony Detectives will help find them! Hear Für Elise and parts of the 5th and 9th Symphonies. And meet Beethoven himself!
