Fidelity FutureStage Music Competition 2010

Fidelity FutureStage and the Houston Symphony are searching for Houston high school musicians and vocalists to compete for a chance to perform on stage at Jones Hall at the June 30 Houston Symphony Concert.

Grand Prize

•    An opportunity to perform on stage before a live audience at a Houston Symphony concert at Jones Hall
•    Rehearsals and coaching with professional musicians
•    Twenty tickets for each Grand Prize Winner to the June 30, 2010 concert
•    Recognition in the concert program
•    A certificate of performance signed by Michael Krajewski, Principal Pops Conductor of the Houston Symphony
•    Professional photos of rehearsal and performance on stage at the concert

Eligibility

The competition is open to full-time students in grades 9 – 12 attending any public high school whose address is located in the city of Houston. Students must be between 13 and 19 years of age as of Wednesday, February 10, 2010. Performers must be instrumental musicians and/or vocalists.
