Don’t miss this FREE 12-hour festival showcasing Houston’s diverse musical landscape. Spend the day at Jones Hall listening to dozens of free performances! Begin the day with a family concert in the morning and end the evening with a concert of favorite symphonic works. In between, on several different stages hear jazz groups, rock and blues bands, ethnic ensembles, choral, classical music and more. Plus, sample some of Houston’s finest food truck fare next door at Jones Plaza.

Ever wonder what it is like to play an orchestral instrument? Here's you chance. Come early before the morning family concert to the Texas Avenue lobby at Jones Hall.
Instrument making craft activities for kids and families. Located on the Mezzanine Level in the lobby before the morning family concert.
||Houston Symphony Family Concert Making Music with Friends celebrates the joy of bringing old friends back to the stage to create art that will inspire and welcome new ones. Robert Franz conducts the Symphony in this performance suited for the whole family!

Sample some of Houston's finest food truck fare next door on Jones Plaza including Bernie's Burger Bus, Coreanos, The Waffle Bus, Happy Endings and Chi'lantro BBQ. Free refreshments in the evening provided by St. Arnold's Brewery.
||"Learn To Play The Harmonica" Clinics
Join a clinician from the Houston Blues Museum for a 30 minute participatory instructional clinic on how to play the harmonica. Clinics will be held on the balcony level at 12 and 2 pm and harmonicas may be purchased for $5.00.
||Annual Houston Chronicle Concert
The orchestra performs music of Ravel, Liszt, and Strauss, conducted by Cristian Macelaru, and will feature the winner of the Ima Hogg Young Artist Competition, clarinetist Moran Katz.
