About this concert
Overview
The Tony® Award-winning Broadway musical Jersey Boys portrayed the lives of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons to international acclaim. Now, by popular demand, for one night only, hear them live with the Houston Symphony singing “Sherry,” “Big Girls Don’t Cry,” “Walk Like a Man” and “Oh, What a Night.”
Valli began singing with the Variety Trio in 1951, but it was as the lead singer of The Four Seasons that he scored number one hits like “Sherry.”
One of the most long-lived vocal groups of the 60s, The Four Seasons sold over 100 million records in their nearly 4 decade career, bringing them among the most successful of doo-wop groups. In 1990, Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
