Myung-Soon Lee, cello, was born in Seoul, Korea. She came to the United States at the age of 21 to study cello at Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, PA. She continued her studies at the New England Conservatory of Music in Boston, MA, where she earned a master of music degree. Prior to joining the cello section of the Houston Symphony in 1976, Ms. Lee played in the Tulsa (OK) Philharmonic and the Miami (FL) Philharmonic.
