Corporate Giving

The Houston Symphony offers a wide-range of corporate sponsorship opportunities. The staff of the Houston Symphony will work with you to design a sponsorship package that addresses the needs of your company and provides a set of meaningful benefits. Below is a sampling of our most popular offerings.

Concert Sponsorship - $10,000 and above

The Houston Symphony presents more than 100 concert performances each season. Concerts range from Classical concerts featuring the most celebrated music in the orchestral repertoire to Pops programming with music from today’s top artists that is guaranteed to have you singing and dancing in your seat. These concerts are performed at Jones Hall to subscription and single ticket audiences, and promotion includes advertising and media campaigns as well as in house marketing efforts. As a sponsor, your company will receive branding opportunities associated with the concert, tickets to the performance and an opportunity to entertain clients or employees at Jones Hall.

Event Sponsorship – from $7,500

From the Opening Night Gala each September and the children’s holiday party called Magical Musical Morning in December to the majestic Houston Symphony Ball every March and the intimate Maestro’s Wine Dinner held on the stage of Jones Hall in May, the Houston Symphony offers a wide-range of high-profile events. These events support the Symphony’s education and outreach programs and draw attendance from the corporate, civic and social leaders of Houston. For companies that want visibility at these prominent
social events and/or client entertainment opportunities, event sponsorship is the perfect fit.

Education Sponsorship – from $5,000

Each year, the Houston Symphony offers free or low-cost concerts to thousands of people through its education and outreach program: Music Matters! Educational performances are held at Jones Hall, Miller Outdoor Theatre and the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion as well as area schools, churches, nursing homes, community centers and shelters for the homeless. The Symphony's outreach activities also feature master classes, instrumental instruction, student competitions, small ensemble performances and lectures. Corporate sponsorship of these programs helps ensure the Symphony’s longstanding commitment to community service.

Project Sponsorship - $10,000 and above

The Houston Symphony is well-known for its dedication to artistic excellence, breadth and innovation. In the past 5 years, the orchestra has collaborated with NASA on two film performance projects, traveled to Carnegie Hall twice, set the memories of Holocaust survivors to music and expanded its performances to Sugar Land. These original and pioneering projects would not have been possible without sponsorship. If your company is seeking a novel promotional opportunity, a future Houston Symphony project is right for you.

The Houston Symphony would be happy to send a schedule of exclusive sponsorship opportunities and/or upcoming events, a list of potential donor benefits or discuss a customized package for your company.
