Hispanic Leadership Council



The Houston Symphony greatly appreciates the valuable input and advocacy of its Hispanic Leadership Council under the leadership of Houston Symphony Board of Trustee John Esquivel.

In partnership with Symphony board and staff leadership, the Hispanic Leadership Council has collaborated and advised on several recent projects including La Triste Historia, a multimedia film + music commission celebrating the Mexican holiday, Day of the Dead; Tango & Tchaikovsky, a free Tango-inspired concert held at Discovery Green and ¡Bienvenido, Andrés!, a free concert at Miller Outdoor Theater celebrating  the inaugural weekend of the Symphony's newest Music Director Andrés Orozco-Estrada.
