Houston Symphony Chorus

The Houston Symphony Chorus is the official choral unit of the Houston Symphony. Each season the volunteer chorus prepares and presents great choral-orchestral masterworks under the baton of conductors of international acclaim.

Board & Staff

The 60+ member staff of the Houston Symphony, led by Executive Director/CEO Mark Hanson, works collaboratively with the Symphony board of 120+ devoted community leaders, currently led by President Bob Peiser.

Houston Symphony League

The mission of the Houston Symphony League is to support the Houston Symphony with engaged, enthusiastic volunteers. This season, the League celebrates its 75th anniversary.  Our volunteers come from all walks of life, from all areas of our city. We share a passion for supporting the Houston Symphony, an extraordinary orchestra that plays a central role in our city’s cultural and civic life.

The Houston Symphony will be celebrating its Centennial Season in 2013-14.  At this moment, it's time to reflect on our proud past and compose our exciting future.  The mission of the Houston Symphony is to inspire and enrich the lives of Houston's diverse citizenry through outstanding symphonic music performed by our great orchestra.
